ByAven is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards throughout our platform.
Conformance Status
ByAven aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard and we are actively working to resolve known gaps.
Accessibility Features
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the site
- Skip-to-main-content link at the top of every page
- Sufficient color contrast (WCAG AA: 4.5:1 for body text)
- Descriptive alt text for informative images
- Proper labels for all form inputs
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- No content that flashes more than three times per second
Known Limitations

Compatible Technologies
ByAven is designed to be compatible with:
- Recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
- Screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Mobile screen readers on iOS (VoiceOver) and Android (TalkBack)
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Operating system accessibility features (zoom, high contrast, etc.)
Assessment Methods
ByAven assesses accessibility through:
- Automated testing tools (Lighthouse, axe DevTools)
- Manual keyboard navigation testing
- Screen reader compatibility checks
- Color contrast verification against WCAG 2.1 criteria
